Shift Leader – Flixbus Shop (m/f/d)

To strengthen our team in Portugal, we are looking for a motivated and driven Shift Leader (m/f/d) for our point of sale at the Lisbon Oriente bus station. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of your shift, supporting the shop team and ensuring smooth operations. This role reports directly to the Shop Manager.

About the Role

• Shift Coordination: organize tasks and objectives (quality, sales, personal development) at the start of each shift and ensure follow-up during the day
• Operational Oversight: guarantee smooth shift operations, focusing on team well-being, safety, and customer satisfaction, as well as uniform compliance
• Service Quality: ensure a high standard of customer service throughout the shift
• Closing Procedures: oversee cash counts and secure end-of-shift processes
• Team Support: provide hands-on support to cashiers and agents during busy periods, conflicts, or operational issues (e.g. cancellations, rebookings)
• Coaching & Feedback: provide regular guidance and motivation to the team
• Onboarding & Training: support the integration and development of new team members

About You

• 2+ years of professional experience in customer service, retail, or operations; leadership experience is a plus
• Experience in sales and cash management is a big plus
• Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
• Organized, proactive, and resilient, able to solve problems and perform under pressure
• Able to quickly familiarize yourself with the tools at your disposal (tablets, web applications, etc.)
• Fluent in both Portuguese and English; other languages are a strong advantage
• Flexible availability from Monday to Sunday, shift-based
