CS Operations Intern (IEFP Internship)

We are looking for a Customer Success Operations Intern to help us scale and improve how we serve our existing customers.

In this role, you will support our daily operations, maintain high-quality customer data, build reports, and contribute to the optimization of the entire customer lifecycle - from onboarding to renewal - through processes, automation, and medium / tech-touch programs.

If you are analytical, organised, and enjoy improving systems and workflows behind the scenes, this internship will give you hands-on exposure to how a SaaS Customer Success organisation runs and grows.

What will be your day to day:

Customer & Lifecycle Data Operations

  • Ensure accurate deal data in HubSpot.
  • Support lifecycle tracking across different customer segments
  • Assist with portfolio management and quarterly CS forecasting.
  • Help ensure data consistency across internal systems.


Reporting & Analytics

  • Support the creation and maintenance of dashboards and reports.
  • Assist with weekly and monthly performance reporting and ensure data accuracy
  • Collaborate with the Data team to align customer data and metrics from different sources.


Process Improvement & Documentation

  • Document CS processes and internal workflows.
  • Identify small inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
  • Support cross-functional projects such as tool integrations and workflow enhancements.
  • Gather improvement suggestions from the team (existing system in use) and work with the CS lead to execute improvements on a quarterly basis


Medium / Tech-Touch & Automation Support

  • Assist in maintaining automated lifecycle workflows and customer communications, when appropriate, taking an active role in outreach to support the team
  • Help monitor the performance of scaled campaigns
  • Participate in mapping customer journeys and identifying friction points and opportunities to improve the customer experience at scale across different customer segments


Project Ownership

  • Take ownership of small, well-defined initiatives that improve CS operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with the Customer Success Lead and Operations teams on strategic improvements.

Requirements

  • Eligible for an IEFP Internship (Estágios + Talento).
  • Master’s degree in Management, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets (comfortable with formulas and data manipulation).
  • Willingness to learn CRM/workflow platforms quickly.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with HubSpot or other CRMs.
  • Basic understanding of SaaS business models, Customer Success workflows and how operations support commercial teams.
  • Exposure to data reporting, dashboards, or workflow automation tools.
    Interest in researching and implementing AI tools to improve the team’s workflows and productivity

While we are a remote-first organisation, this role does require time in our Lisbon office
