We are looking for a Tracking Specialist to own and oversee all tracking foundations across the company. This pivotal role will ensure we capture the right data points across product, website, and other digital touchpoints, enabling reliable analytics and insights that drive business impact.
As the Tracking Specialist, you will work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Data teams to define, implement, and maintain a comprehensive tracking strategy. You will play a vital role in ensuring data quality and consistency, empowering the organization to make confident, data-driven decisions in a fast-scaling B2B SaaS environment.
- Define and maintain the company-wide tracking framework, ensuring scalable and consistent practices
- Oversee tracking implementation across product, website, and other digital properties
- Guarantee that the right data points are captured to support KPIs, product analytics, marketing attribution, and experimentation
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to ensure accurate event tracking and instrumentation
- Work with Marketing and Growth teams to validate tracking of campaigns, funnels, and user journeys
- Maintain clear and accessible documentation of tracking schemas, events, and data flows
- Monitor and validate tracking data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
- Establish best practices for event naming, structure, and governance
- Partner with BI and DataOps to align tracking data with warehouse models and KPIs
- Act as the subject matter expert for tracking across the company
- Provide feedback to Product teams to ensure tracking supports feature adoption and user behavior analysis
- Partner with BI to ensure tracking aligns with reporting and insights needs
- Proven experience in tracking and analytics implementation, ideally in a SaaS B2B environment
- Hands-on experience with Amplitude or similar product analytics platforms (e.g., Mixpanel, Heap)
- Strong understanding of tracking concepts (events, properties, schemas, user identification)
- Familiarity with marketing and web tracking (Google Tag Manager, Segment, GA4, etc.)
- Experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to ensure correct instrumentation
- Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and ability to ensure data quality
