3. About the Role
We are looking for an Senior Sales Manager to drive lead acquisition initiatives designed internally and executed with the support of external agencies, ensuring the fulfilment of BHOUT's ambitious customer acquisition goals in the Clubs, B2B and B2C verticals.
4. What You'll Do
As a Senior Sales Manager, you will report directly to the COO and work in partnership with various internal teams. You’ll be responsible for developing the strategy as well as overseeing and optimizing online and offline customer acquisition initiatives in collaboration with external marketing agencies. You will ensure all actions are strategic, data-driven, and well-integrated.
1. Strategy and Planning (Online & Offline)
- Develop integrated acquisition strategies across digital channels (Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO/SEM) as well as other acquisition channels such as SMS/WhatsApp, email marketing, cold calling, and offline channels (events, activations, partnerships, street marketing, corporate wellness programs) in cooperation and alignment with Brand & Comms department.
- Identify and evaluate offline touchpoints where BHOUT can intercept its target audience: gyms, coworking spaces, universities, shopping centres, etc.
- Build and manage robust CRM for all parts of the funnel: awareness, conversion and retention, resorting to state-of-the art tools and technology as well as sorting inspiration from best practices in the fitness and tech industries.
- Ensure that campaigns align with BHOUT’s values and target customer profiles, developing detailed customer behaviour reports for all stages of the funnel and spot trends and bottlenecks in acquisition and growth.
- Ensure consistent messaging and cohesive customer journey across all acquisition channels, in collaboration with other teams at BHOUT.
- Design and execute paid media budget across all channels.
2. Local Club Acquisition Ownership
- Take ownership of offline customer acquisition for each BHOUT Club, ensuring strategies are tailored to the local context and geography.
- Collaborate with field teams to map local partnerships, foot traffic hotspots, and regional opportunities.
- Plan and execute hyper-local marketing initiatives, including:
- Strategic collaborations with universities, retailers, and corporate offices.
- On-the-ground activations like flyering, sampling, and street marketing in high-traffic areas.
- Attendance at community events, neighborhood fairs, or fitness expos.
- Customize tactics to reflect the cultural, economic, and behavioral traits of each location.
- Continuously report on results by club and city, identifying which offline strategies deliver the highest quality leads.
3. Managing External Relationships
- Act as the primary point of contact between BHOUT and the external marketing agency.
- Ensure the agency fully understands BHOUT’s strategic objectives, including lead quality, cost targets, and customer experience impact.
- Attend regular meetings with the agency to review progress, analyze results, and propose optimizations.
- Coordinate in partnership with the Brand & Comms team all external partners, such as real estate developers, fitness influencers, corporates, and local event organizers, to generate new acquisition opportunities.
4. Field Activation & Local Marketing
- Design and execute local activations, such as:
- Pop-up strategies on club’s locations.
- Demonstrations or trial sessions in public or private venues.
- Presence at industry events, sports tournaments, or wellness fairs.
- Build a referral plan that includes a network of referral partners who can generate leads in exchange for commissions or rewards.
- Lead local flyering campaigns, community engagement initiatives, or partnerships that share BHOUT’s ethos.
5. Monitoring and Analysis
- Track both online and offline performance metrics: cost per lead (CPL), customer acquisition cost (CAC), conversion rates, event ROI, and engagement from activations.
- Analyze agency reports, validate results, and identify improvement opportunities based on internal benchmarks.
- Validate and interpret agency and internal reports, identifying trends and improvement areas.
- Work with Customer Success to:
- Define the ideal BHOUT customer profile.
- Monitor the journey of acquired leads to ensure alignment with long-term retention and customer satisfaction.
- Provide feedback on lead quality by channel.
- Ensure campaigns target relevant audiences and that generated leads contribute to a sustainable and efficient sales funnel.
6. Innovation and Experimentation
- Stay updated on market trends and competitor tactics to proactively propose actions that position BHOUT as a bold, disruptive player in fitness.
- Monitor market trends and competitive practices, implementing innovations that differentiate BHOUT in the market.
- Work in close communication with Brand & Comms team to develop the most accurate new experimentations.
5. What You'll Need
Essential
- Previous experience in the fitness industry as Sales Manager or Director.
- Minimum of 2-4 years experience in digital marketing, agency management, or similar roles related to customer acquisition.
- Advanced knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads, and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, or similar.
- Strong analytical skills to monitor performance metrics and generate actionable insights.
- Experience managing external agencies, ensuring strategic alignment and delivering results.
- Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams, especially in dynamic, results-driven environments.
- Experience in Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategies, Onboarding and in-app engagement strategies and collaboration with product squads to improve user activation and retention
- Basic knowledge of UX/UI principles
Preferred Skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage expectations across internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in tech, or startup industries is a plus.
