At Pipedrive, payments are a core part of how our business operates and how we monetize our product globally. As part of a broader payments transformation program, we’re creating a new Senior Payments Analyst role to establish and own Payments BI — the dedicated analytics capability focused specifically on merchant (pay-in) payments performance, economics, and optimization.
Today, only basic payment data is assembled manually. In this role, you’ll change that. You’ll combine hands-on merchant payments experience with strong BI and analytics skills to build foundational KPI reporting and monitoring — and, critically, to turn insights into measurable improvements in authorization rates, cost, and customer payment experience.
This is a unique opportunity to build a new payments analytics capability from the ground up and have an immediate, visible impact on how payments performance is measured, monitored, and actively optimized.
Your new adventure
Establish and own the Payments BI foundations, including core KPIs, dashboards, and reporting focused on merchant pay-in performance (e.g., authorization rates, conversion, payment method performance, routing outcomes, and payment costs)Source, reconcile, and normalize data across PSPs, payment methods, and internal systems to create a consistent and reliable payments data layerBuild reliable, automated monitoring and reporting that enables fast decision-making and early detection of payments performance issues, through advanced analytics, AI/ML, or third-party toolsIdentify optimization opportunities (e.g., routing, retries, payment methods, issuer performance) and proactively drive actions to improve outcomesAct as the central source of truth for payments performance and insights across PipedrivePartner with stakeholders across Finance, Product, and Payments to define and prioritize the most impactful metrics and initiativesProvide analysis and clear, actionable recommendations to improve PSP performance, customer payment experience, and payment economicsDefine and execute the Payments BI roadmap, scaling and automating reporting as the business evolvesCollaborate closely with central BI/Data and Analytics teams to ensure payments insights are embedded into Pipedrive’s broader analytics ecosystem
