THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Delivery Manager to lead the successful implementation of projects within the Farfetch F-Tech Platform. This role goes beyond execution - you will be expected to drive strategic thinking, challenge assumptions, and influence decision-making while ensuring best-in-class delivery. You will manage the complete project lifecycle, working with diverse internal stakeholders and several tech teams, to help evolve the Farfetch platform.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Manage the full project life cycle ensuring that project scope, milestones, and deliverables meet the needs of the project stakeholdersAct as a thought partner to stakeholders, challenging requirements, identifying gaps, and proposing improved approaches where neededAssess and identify the potential risks that may affect each project and implement strategies for its mitigationBuild relevant project documents (charter, scope, project plans, status reporting, RACI, RAIDs, or others) following Farfetch's Delivery Management Framework throughout the project lifecycleIdentify, define and track meaningful success metrics (KPIs) to measure impact and inform decision-makingClosely work with tech teams members (architecture, engineering, product, QA's, etc) to ensure the successful delivery of the initiatives, tracking progress, monitoring risks and managing dependenciesEvaluate all deviations and propose improvement plans/actions and measure activity performance against the baseline plansKeep an effective communication during the whole projectManage top management stakeholders, both from tech areas and business areasContribute to continuous improvement of delivery practices, bringing best practices from high-performing environments. WHO YOU ARE
A professional with, at least 5, years' experience in Delivery ManagementExperienced in high-performance environments (e.g. Big Tech or similar scale/complexity), with exposure to complex, cross-functional initiativesAble to manage multiple projects/deadlines, identifying the necessary steps and moving forward through completionAble to easily build relationships with the different players of the tech and business areas, at different levels of the organizationA professional with good attention to detail, an ability to assimilate, sort through and aggregate complex informationStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down ambiguity and propose structured solutionsComfortable challenging the status quo in a constructive and collaborative mannerStrong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence senior stakeholders and support decision-makingA professional fluent in both Portuguese and English.
