THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Regional Operations Lead (ROL) to manage and support a team of Operations Analysts across a defined region. The ROL will be responsible for executing regional operational strategies, ensuring the consistent deployment of processes, and driving performance in line with customer satisfaction, ancillary availability, and operational efficiency goals.

Reporting directly to the Regional Director and functionally to the Operations Strategy Director, the ROL serves as the operational backbone of the region. This role requires a highly collaborative leader who can effectively translate strategy into execution and support local depots through coordination and oversight of regional processes and partnerships.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

Regional Execution & Operational Support

  • Oversee daily operational processes across the region, ensuring coordination with local depots and Operations Analysts.
  • Ensure full compliance with SOPs, especially in health & safety, facilities, stock management, and service delivery.

  • Monitor and drive results on core KPIs, particularly customer satisfaction, ancillary availability, and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular field visits to assess operations, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Serve as the right arm of the Regional Director and act as the BROM’s replacement during absences.

Team Leadership & People Development

  • Lead and develop a team of Operations Analysts through regular 1:1s, team check-ins, and coaching.
  • Support team members in partner management, project delivery, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the People team on hiring, onboarding, and training initiatives.

Partner & Supplier Management

  • Act as the main regional contact for key suppliers (laundry, cleaning, gas, real estate, etc.).
  • Lead procurement and negotiations when needed, and assess supplier performance to ensure SLA compliance and drive improvements.

Process Optimization & Strategic Projects

  • Lead strategic initiatives like depot openings, relocations, and fleet projects.
  • Continuously improve processes for speed, cost-efficiency, and consistency, using data and insights to evolve standards and playbooks.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting

  • Act as a bridge between central and local teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
  • Collaborate with functional departments to resolve blockers and improve regional performance.
  • Provide regular updates on performance, risks, and opportunities to regional and strategy leadership.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We’re seeking a structured, action-oriented leader with a proven track record in operational execution and people management. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 6 to 8 years of experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, or project management, ideally with multi-site exposure.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience managing teams, including performance management and coaching.
  • Strong background in supplier/partner management and procurement.
  • Proficiency in analyzing and acting on operational KPIs and dashboards.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A practical, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on execution.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English (mandatory).
  • Fluency in a German or Italian is a strong plus.
  • Availability to travel frequently within the region.
