About the team:

We’re looking for a Project Manager to join the Project Management and Operations (PMO) team at Web Summit. 

PMO is part of event operations and is central to creating world-class attendee experiences on a global scale. Designers, event coordinators, producers, stage managers and many others work hand-in-hand to produce every element, from stages and exhibitions to live operations and attendee experience for all of our events.

Please note, this is a 12m FTC.

What you'll achieve at Web Summit

  • You’ll be responsible for the co-planning of our events, working closely with event producers
  • You’ll identify areas of improvement, continuously reviewing every part of the change management flow
  • You’ll drive innovation, manage change and create best in class plans and processes acting as a coach across the business on everything PM related.

  • Skills and abilities we're looking for

  • 1-3 years of demonstrable project management experienceExperience using PM tools and developing processes around their use 
  • Experience managing multiple projects at one time and prioritising workload
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and accomplish tasks as part of a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in event planning or coordination
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification would be preferred
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English would be advantageous
