THE ROLE
As a Compensation & Payroll in the People team, you will play a crucial role in managing our compensation and payroll processes, ensuring our employees are rewarded accurately and on time. Reporting directly to the Director of People at our HQ, and you will work closely with various departments to support our employees and enhance our organizational efficiency.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
- Managing the payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries.
- Ensuring compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations in all payroll and compensation activities.
- Maintaining and updating employee records in the payroll system, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Own statutory Social Security processes as contributions control, admissions, terminations and contract administration,
- Own statutory Tax Authorities remuneration reporting.
- Fullfill the annual compliance such as “Relatório Único”).
- Coordinate mandatory reporting to external entities as workplace accident insurance.
- Analyzing payroll data and metrics to provide insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Responding to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and compensation in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborating with Finance and People teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll and compensation processes.
- Developing and implementing payroll policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
- Administering employee benefits and rewards programs, ensuring they are competitive and align with company objectives.
- Supporting the team with administrative tasks and special projects as needed.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in payroll administration and compensation management.
- Strong understanding of payroll best practices, labor laws, and tax regulations.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support employees and collaborate with teams.
- Proficiency in payroll software and tools, with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and see them through to completion.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
