Mid-Level AI Engineer

HiJiffy is looking for a talented Mid-Level AI Engineer to join our remote team. With you on board, we aim to expand our AI capabilities and take our product to a whole new level.

You’ll be part of a motivated and growing product team, working in a friendly, collaborative environment where innovation is encouraged. What will you do?

• Design and develop NLP applications to power guest–agent interactions.
  
  
• Build effective text representations to transform natural language into useful features.
  
  
• Find, implement, and optimize algorithms and tools for NLP tasks.
  
  
• Train, evaluate, and refine models through statistical analysis and experimentation.
  
  
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to integrate AI features into scalable production systems.
  
  
• Collect and organize large datasets to create event-driven actions and improve conversation insights.
  
  
• Contribute to enhancing reporting systems with AI-driven analytics and automation.
  
  
• Stay up-to-date with the rapidly evolving fields of LLMs and machine learning.
  
  

Key Requirements

• Solid understanding of NLP techniques (text representation, semantic extraction, classification algorithms).
  
  
• Knowledge of big data frameworks and event-driven architectures.
  
  
• Experience applying LLMs (e.g., GPT, Gemini, BERT, or similar) and RAG systems in production environments.
  
  
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  
  
• Strong coding skills with the ability to write robust, testable, and maintainable code in Python.
  
  
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computational Linguistics, or a related field.
  
  

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face).
  
  
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
  
  
• Background in the hospitality or SaaS industry.
