THE ROLE
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Marketplace to own and lead the Marketplace P&L — driving sustainable growth in GMV, Net Revenue, and Contribution Margin. You will define and execute the marketplace strategy, ensuring alignment between commercial, operational, and financial objectives, while scaling high-quality, bookable supply and delivering exceptional value to customers and partners.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
- Own the Marketplace P&L — deliver against GMV, Net Revenue, and Contribution Margin targets.
- Define and execute the Marketplace growth strategy, ensuring commercial, operational, and financial alignment.
- Scale supply quality and quantity, ensuring a healthy balance across markets and segments.
- Optimize take rate and pricing strategy to enhance profitability while maintaining competitiveness.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to accelerate marketplace performance.
- Develop, coach, and manage a high-performing Marketplace team, including CPT and Account Management functions.
- Analyze and report business performance, identifying key insights and driving continuous improvement.
- Represent Marketplace leadership in strategic planning, executive meetings, and company-wide initiatives.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- 7+ years’ experience in marketplace, mobility, travel-tech, or consumer platform environments.
- Proven success in P&L ownership, commercial strategy, or business unit leadership.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen, with experience optimizing revenue and margin levers.
- Expertise in supply growth, pricing strategy, and marketplace dynamics.
- Skilled people leader with a track record of building and motivating cross-functional teams.
- Strategic mindset paired with hands-on execution ability in high-growth, fast-paced settings.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
