We're now in search of a new #bloqstar to join us as a Logistics Specialist. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in overseeing all aspects of operational processes within the company, with a focus on logistics, inventory management, and transportation coordination. You will ensure that our logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently, contributing directly to the scalability and reliability of our business.
What will be your responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of all inventory movements within the ERP system;
- Monitor and control inventory levels across multiple warehouse locations, optimizing for cost-efficiency and minimizing excess stock and carrying costs;
- Support the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the ERP inventory module, including stock control and movement processes;
- Develop, update, and maintain logistics and inventory process documentation to ensure compliance with internal policies and operational best practices;
- Proactively identify and report low stock or out-of-stock situations to relevant stakeholders to ensure timely replenishment;
- Create and maintain transportation orders, ensuring effective communication with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments.
- Prepare and manage all required transportation documentation (e.g., packing lists, delivery notes, transport guides), ensuring compliance with legal and company standards;
- Analyze key logistics KPIs (e.g., delivery performance, freight costs) to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions;
- Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, production, warehousing, and customer service teams to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations.
What are the requirements to join us in this position
- Good level of English and Portuguese; other languages are a plus;
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Management, or a related field;
- 3+ years of experience in Shipping, Logistics, Transportation Management, or Supply Chain;
- Proficient in logistics and inventory management software;
- Analytical, methodical, and process-oriented;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and continuously improving environment;
- Good communication, team collaboration, and organizational skills;
- Advanced problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail;
- Proactive, always looking to improve established processes and collaborating with other teams to find new improvement possibilities.
Extra valued skills
- Experience with Odoo is a big plus;
- Experience in inventory management within multiple locations;
- Experience in freight forwarding, customs clearance and incoterms. Knowledge of regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience with implementing and maintaining ERP.
