The opportunity
Uphold is looking for a Junior Recruitment Assistant (IEFP Internship) to join our People team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to learn the ins and outs of talent acquisition and play a key role in elevating the operational efficiency of our recruitment processes.
You'll be working side-by-side with a passionate and high-performing team of recruiters, helping streamline and improve the systems, templates, documentation, and workflows that power our hiring engine. By taking on crucial administrative and coordination responsibilities, you’ll enable the team to focus more on strategic hiring efforts, meaningful candidate interactions, and delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

Primary responsibilities
- Creating and publishing job postings across internal platforms and external job boards.
- Coordinating second and third round interviews between candidates and hiring teams, working on a global scale and liaising directly with multiple leaders across the organization.
- Cleaning up and harmonizing job descriptions, offer templates, and candidate-facing documentation.
- Documenting recruitment procedures and operational playbooks to support team alignment and scalability.
- Performing regular audits and clean-ups of our candidate database to maintain data quality and compliance.
- Supporting the continuous improvement of our templates and documentation library.
- Assisting in managing candidate feedback workflows and interview debrief processes.
- Assisting with the organization and maintenance of recruitment-related information in our systems and tools.
- Other administrative duties as needed to support the recruitment team.
What you might grow into
- Supporting early-stage sourcing efforts by identifying and pre-screening potential candidates.
- Driving data hygiene and reporting best practices across our ATS and recruitment systems.
- Assisting in onboarding processes and operational handovers from candidate to employee.
Required qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and a high attention to detail.
- Clear written communication and a collaborative mindset.
- Comfortable working with documentation and administrative systems.
- Self-starter attitude and the ability to manage time and priorities in a complex and fast-paced environment.
- A desire to learn and grow within the recruitment/talent space.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
Bonus if you have
- Previous exposure to an ATS (like Greenhouse, Lever, etc.) or other HR software.
- Interest in people analytics, documentation practices, or process optimization.
- Experience writing templates, guides, or SOPs.
- Background in psychology, human resources, communication, or business administration.
- Fluency in cryptocurrencies or other digital assets as they are core to our business.
