THE ROLE

As Indie Campers Finance Director, you will be globally responsible for the areas of accounting, reporting, controlling, financial planning & analysis, and treasury. 
You will ensure that financial and management accounts are produced accurately and in time, maintain control over all investments, revenues, costs, and cash flow of the organisation, as well as ensure budgeting and forecasting exercises. Your teams will also be responsible for cash management, treasury functions and performing all required financial analysis to support decision-making in the organisation. 

You will manage a team of more than 20 people and must take a hand-on leadership role that supports high-level strategic decisions, implementation of scalable processes while having operational responsibilities and not being afraid to dive into the details.

You will be joining our Financial Planning and Reporting team in our HQ, reporting directly to the CFO, and working very closely with all stakeholders across the organization.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

Team building & leadership
  • Recruit, onboard and lead a team of finance analysts and specialists with audit or consulting backgrounds;
  • Establish a strong execution culture inspired by top-tier consulting and audit standards;
  • Set clear methodologies, routines, KPIs and delivery standards.
Execution & financial discipline

You and your team will work on topics where execution quality directly impacts P&L, cash and predictability, including:

  • Insurance and claims management (loss ratios, end-to-end process control);
  • Disputes, chargebacks, refunds and customer compensations;
  • Damages identification and chargeability;
  • Stolen vehicles detection and recovery processes;
  • Fines, tolls and operational chargeability;
  • Roadside assistance, towing and emergency costs;
  • Repair and maintenance cost control;
  • Operational personnel costs and seasonality effects;
  • Real estate and overflow parking costs

You will:

  • Lead deep dives and root cause analyses across regions;
  • Drive corrective actions and ensure sustainable implementation;
  • Partner closely with Finance and Operations to standardize processes;
  • Ensure consistency, accountability and execution discipline at scale.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • 7–11 years of experience in audit, consulting or transaction services
  • Proven ability to build and lead teams in demanding environments
  • Strong execution mindset, highly structured and analytical
  • Comfortable deep-diving into operational details, beyond pure financial analysis
  • Strong ownership, accountability and leadership skills
    Fluency in English is mandatory
