
Job Description
We’re looking for an analytical and solutions-driven Courier Operations Manager with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to help us manage the Courier Function of Bolt Food in Portugal. You’ll work closely with the General Manager and various local and global stakeholders to shape the future of Bolt Food’s success in the country.

You will be leading the Courier Operations function for Bolt Food in the market, making sure our operations run efficiently and at scale. You will have a direct impact on the business growth through achieving supply growth milestones and key metrics. We’re seeking someone who can seamlessly switch between analytical problem-solving and field-level operational execution.
- Launching and managing courier operations in the local market.
- Creating, improving and scaling courier operations processes.
- Monitoring, improving and optimising key delivery metrics to increase efficiency and ensure a great experience for our users, couriers and partners (groceries & restaurants.)
- Solving blockers such as forecasting supply and leading by example - be confident to roll your sleeves up and work towards the solution.
- Building financial and operational models focused on optimising each component of the delivery process.
- Leverage cross-departmental collaboration to advance courier operation-related goals.
- You have a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain or related field.
- You have 3+ years of relevant previous experience in operations, commercial, consultancy or analytics.
- You are an analytical thinker who loves to find the right solution (advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills are a must; Looker/PowerBI/Tableau are nice to have)
- You an owner and proactively seek to improve processes and handle business problems.
- You have strong stakeholder management, negotiation and overall communication skills.
- You have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in both Portuguese and English
