THE ROLE

As Indie Campers Corporate Finance Director, you will be responsible for leading the department that enables the Business Strategy and Model of Indie Campers, coordinating the different areas of the team spread between Fleet Financing, Bank & Investor Relations, M&A, Tax & Incentives and Insurance.

You will be joining our Finance team in our Lisbon HQ, reporting directly to the CFO, and working very closely with all major stakeholders in Operations, Revenue, Product & Engineering, People and CEO Office.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

  • Manage and develop the funding strategy of the business for its operational and investment plan. 
  • Manage credit approvals, deal brokerage, contract terms, payment operations, and financial modelling  for the financing of our main asset - campervans!
  • Identify and execute strategic M&A opportunities, leading the overall process.
  • Develop insurance strategies, align pricing and coverage needs which guarantee operational and customer expectations
  • Oversee cash flow management, credit lines, and investment rounds while ensuring financial stability in a seasonal business model.
  • Coordinate treasury activities, ensuring alignment with corporate finance functions..
  • Manage grants, tax incentives, and transfer pricing strategies.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in Corporate Finance, M&A, Investment Banking or Private Equity
  • 3+ years of experience in developing and leading teams
  • Strong expertise in Asset Financing, Insurance Strategy, Bank & Investor Relations, M&A.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving mindset, and ability to navigate complex financial structures.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring financial strategies align with business objectives.
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments and feel comfortable with ever-changing situations.
  • You are motivated by taking ownership of your projects.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
