Backend Developer

You’ll be focused in 

• Collaborating within a cross-functional DevOps team to build digital products for eMobility, Fleet, and Driver management.

• Designing and implement scalable, resilient, secure, and observable microservices.

• Applying SOLID principles and Clean Code best practices (code so clean it practically debugs itself).

• Ensuring code quality through automated testing and thorough code reviews.

• Deploying efficiently and cost-effectively to AWS environments using CI/CD pipelines.

• Collaborating closely with Product Owners to define technically feasible and effective solutions.

• Working within an international team distributed across Lisbon, Munich, and Porto.

In order to succeed, you’ll need 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or comparable work experience 

• Proven experience working as a Backend Developer or related role 

• Strong understanding of microservice and event-driven architecture principles.

• Hands-on experience with Java/Kotlin, Spring (including Spring Boot), and JUnit.

• Basic proficiency in Python.

• Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).

• Experience working with AWS cloud services.

• Proven ability to deliver complex IT solutions within Agile product development environments.

• Advanced proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Nice to have

• Experience developing AI-powered products.

• Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React.
