You'll be focused in

• Being the contact person for all technical questions about our web portals and web applications

• Evaluating, prioritizing and developing the requirements and respective solutions for our internal and external partners

• Being responsible for the design, discussion, solution finding and implementation of various requirements and applications as well as the integration of existing legacy systems

• Discussing your concepts, ideas and proposed solutions with IT security experts, architects and other important committees and stakeholders

• Working closely with suppliers and service providers for whose management you are responsible

• Having many degrees of freedom, but also a lot of responsibility and are bound by different framework conditions in the Group; the art is always to find the best solution taking into account a wide variety of interests

• Being involved in IT operational topics, bug fixing, testing and user support

• Supporting us in various AWS cloud projects 

In order to succeed, you’ll need 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or comparable work experience 

• Proven experience working as a Fullstack Developer or related role 

• Good knowledge of modern and existing programming languages and solutions:

• Java middleware / REST architecture (Jersey) Java 17+ / Tomcat 10.1, other middleware components such as JSPs & Servlets

• Frontend / SPA libraries (React, Vue) & other frontend components (Bootstrap, jQuery)

• Very Good knowledge of Java 11 & 17, Typescript, JavaScript, semantic HTML, modern CSS - SOAP and REST interfaces via HTTPS

• Relational databases, SQL queries in web applications/for analyses ideally with PostgreSQL/ Oracle DB

•  Web security guidelines and best practices, e.g. OWASP

Nice to Have:

• Experience as a Product Owner

• Developer tools such as maven, npm, webpack, vite

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (in GitLab)

• Experience with Linux servers (CLI via SSH)* for performance analysis and evaluation of logs

• Understanding of OpenID Connect / Oauth 2.0, experience in implementing these applications ideally with Azure AD or B2C

• Understanding of SCIM 2.0

• Development and updates of First Spirit CMS templates

• AWS cloud services (Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudFront, Route53, IAM, WAF, DynamoDB, IaaS with AWS CDK)

• Unit testing frameworks (like Jest or JUnit) and E2E/Integration testing frameworks (like Cypress or Playwright)
